TWA HOTEL – JFK AIRPORT, NY

Photos by Christian & Emilio for Natura Collective // Brooklyn Wedding Photography

When Shara and James agreed to do their engagement session at the iconic TWA Hotel we were so excited. It’s been on our “NYC photo spot bucket list” since we moved here in 2018 from Florida! If we’re being honest we might have begged them to do the session here when they weren’t sure on a location. It all worked out perfectly and they were down to get creative with us here. Scroll a few of these stunning TWA Hotel Engagement Session photos.

After finding us on Instagram in 2021, S+J hired us for their engagement session and wedding at The River Cafe. We can’t wait to post those wedding photos too!

What stands out the most about TWA Hotel for an engagement session is undoubtedly the architecture and their gorgeous sunken lounge. The pop of red in the middle of the lobby immediately draws the eye and all of the retro designs everywhere keep you wanting to explore. This is us begging someone to please get married here and hire us, TYSM!

Fun fact we also did an engagement session here shortly after our own proposal. Pro tip: do your session in the early AM to avoid most crowds, and book in advance for a mini staycation. We stayed for a night and had a cute date night at the incredible Paris Cafe right inside the hotel. Then we woke up the next morning for the engagement session. It was PERFECT!

We can’t post this session without mention of the incredible architect responsible for this perfect hotel. Eero Saarinen designed the TWA Hotel/Terminal 5 in 1962, he’s also known for the Gateway Arch in St. Louis.

Okay we’ll shut up about architecture. TWA Hotel is the perfect engagement session spot in NYC. It also has plenty of reception/ceremony options for a retro or architecture forward wedding. HIRE US!
