MARIALEJANDRA + JUSTIN
Brooklyn Botanic Garden Engagement Session
Photos by Christian + Emilio for Natura Collective // Brooklyn Engagement Photographer
We absolutely love Spring in New York City. There is new growth, beauty and colors everywhere! Mary and Justin met in 2018 and found a new home in each other. With a mixture of cultures, languages and backgrounds, they are growing together and, just like Spring, they bring the best colors out of each other. We are so so looking forward to their 2022 wedding in Long Island.
Their engagement session was set for April 2021 and the day could not have been better (low 70s, no humidity and sunny). We met at the gorgeous Brooklyn Botanic Garden, where a guide took us to see the grounds and take pictures with the most beautiful backgrounds you can imagine. It was a dreamy location for their photo shoot. Some of the Cherry Blossoms were in peak bloom, making the gardens feel surreal. The blooms and pristine gardens made the perfect engagement session backdrop, it’s one of our favorite NYC engagement session locations. Well worth the photography permit you’ll need through BBG.
From the couple: “Christian and Emilio were amazing to work with. It’s the first time we both had professional photos taken and we had no idea what to expect. They guided us through it all, what to do, where to look, how to walk! They are also super reassuring: trust us, you want Emilio saying “sooo pretty!” every time he looks at his camera, and Christian saying “perfect!” nonstop! We loved that they inserted normal conversation as we were walking around, which made us relax and have fun! We genuinely cannot wait to have them shoot our wedding day”
Mary and Justin’s wedding will be taking place in 2022, right in the middle of the Spring season!
