Brooklyn Wedding at Deity | Amanda + Terri

Amanda and Terri’s perfect Brooklyn wedding at Deity was filled with so much love. The two started out at their getting ready location in Brooklyn prepping for their first look near Jane’s Carousel. If you haven’t already watched the video, prepare for all the feels. Terri sent Amanda a heartfelt voice message the morning of the wedding and there wasn’t a dry eye in the getting ready room. 

After getting ready at a nearby hotel in Brooklyn, the two separately made their way to the DUMBO waterfront area near Jane’s Carousel. Amanda was tucked out of sight eagerly waiting for the first look. We highly recommend doing first looks as the rest of the day flows so smoothly after that! You get some of the only alone time you’ll have all day during a first look. Other cute things like voice memos and personalized letters to each other the morning of the wedding are also highly recommended! They add a personal touch if you’re getting ready separately and only make the moments leading up to seeing each other that much more exciting. 

After some portrait time in the DUMBO area and the first look, the whole group made it over to Deity by limo. The multi-level ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour space at Deity is perfect for small and medium sized weddings. We love the way it flows easily from one level to the next. Amanda and Terri exchanged their vows and continued on with their Brooklyn wedding at Deity well into the night. We were lucky enough to have some more time with the two running around outside in the streets next to Deity.
